what if one day alexander ludwig tweets,
“hey guys. i finally got a new keyboard. i couldn’t keep using that old one- the ‘e’ button wouldn’t work.”
January 2012
Whenever I read The Hunger Games’ Jennifer Lawrence or The Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson, it really takes me aback for some random and unknown reason…
Not a problem lovely anon! I’m sorry it was such a useless reply hahaha!
That sounds awesome, I would love to know what you can find out. GOOD LUCK, I was so stoked that they were getting me a copy, I hope you can get one too! :D
Because I haven’t gotten around to the rest of them yet hahahah! I’m not really doing it in ‘30 days’ as such. I’m doing it when I get the chance. And I’m also not doing it in order, which you probably noticed XD
This message pleases me, because it shows me I’m not the only one in this situation XD And I can actually answer it for you, because yesterday I went to the bookshop and enquired!
I asked when the Illustrated Movie Companion was coming out, and the woman said their bookshop wasn’t getting it till the 1st of March. And then she checked her computer with the records of stock and shit and said that apparently the distrubiter didn’t even have the books yet! Anyway, so she called them up, and they said they did have the books, and that they could send me a copy in a week! So I should get it around the 5th or 6th. But I don’t know when it officially hits stands here, unfortunately. Also, keep in mind this was a smaller bookshop, the bigger ones, like Dymocks or Big W, might be getting them on the 7th as well. I’m not sure about the public release date, it could be as late as 1st March though :/
As for the others, I’m not really sure. I’m not as desperate to get my hands on them though. I wanted the movie companion becaues I knew that MAJOR SPOILERS would be posted as soon as it was released in the States, and I didn’t want to be spoiled online, I wanted the book the same time as everyone else. I still want the World of the Hunger Games and the Tributes guide, but I’m happy to wait for a few extra weeks for them.
Anyway, back to answering your question (sorry for the ranting, I do it way too often). I’m honestly not sure. It’s possible you could pick up a copy within the next two weeks, but it could also be until March before we see them. I think the actual release date is unlikely. But you never know. Also, if you do ring them, could you please send me a message letting me know what they say, that would be greatly appreciated! :D
Sorry for the really long response that didn’t even really answer your question :/
- Interviewer: I know it’s often compared to “Twilight,’’ but in “The Hunger Games,’’ the stakes are much higher.
- Elizabeth Banks: What are the stakes in “Twilight’’? Like, “I don’t know . . . should I marry this werewolf?’’
Hmmm… I think TV spots usually go to air around 2-3 weeks before the movie. So not until March, I would say :(
“Is the sky blue?”
“Does Edward Cullen sparkle?”
“Have you really been personally victimized by Regina George?”
“Does Stacy’s mom really have it going on?”

Mockingjay, page 314.

- Ben & Jerry: Always
- peeta: YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH BREADS

no, the odds are not in my favor today, i whisper as i wake up to another day of waiting for the hunger games movie
With less than two months to go before the March 23 premiere of The Hunger Games, the first installment of Suzanne Collins’ breathlessly addicting Mockingjay trilogy, director Gary Ross is already predicting the possibility of another nomination for his 21-year-old star Jennifer Lawrence come next year’s Oscars. “The range in this performance, the emotional terrain that she investigates, the demands of what this role are,” he raves of Lawrence’s portrayal of series heroine Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old forced alongside other children into a televised fight-to-the-death. “It’s such an intensely physical role and an emotional one. She carries the entire movie. To be able to do that at that age is so kind of incredible that I was in a little bit of awe. Do I think she should be nominated? Absolutely.”
